"The most honest, heartfelt, and directly intimate concert in my entire life"
was how Ross Hocker, NPR radio host, summed up his experience.

A concert artist with a stunning voice, Allison has repeatedly toured Canada and Europe. Her eclectic vocals weave original songs together with ones by Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell and the Beatles, and move on through rock, jazz and Broadway standards.

Over the past six years Crowe has traveled more than 100,000 km., crossing North America many times and making annual concert visits to England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, France, the Netherlands and other locales in Europe.

On her first visit to Newfoundland, in 2005, she fell in love with the island . . . and an islander. Allison Crowe now calls Corner Brook home and we are happy to have her here as a member of our musicians’ association.

Rubenesque Records has released five Allison Crowe albums. Her most recent CD, This Little Bird, will provide repertoire for her upcoming European tour.

Allison will be featured in the MUSICIANS FOR MUSICIANS benefit concert at the Gower Street United Church in St. John’s, Newfoundland on Thursday, June 21st. Other artists for this event include the new music duo Spanner, blues artist Denis Parker, Jenny Gear and Sandy Morris, Gospel award winning pianist David Chafe and jazz pianist Bill Brennan.

Tickets for the June 21st concert are $12 in advance from Auntie Crae’s, O’Briens Music and Fred’s Records in St. John’s, and $15 at the door. The concert will begin at 8 PM. Doors open at 7.
