David William is a St. John’s native in his thirties who recently released his debut CD RadioOctave to wide critical acclaim. Along with his writing partner, Keith Matthews, David has created original songs that are brilliant, subtle and emotionally charged. One reviewer has called RadioOctave “the best independently produced CD I have ever heard” and further evidence of the power of David’s performance includes selection of his single State of Grace as lead track in the new compilation CD from Toronto Experimental Artists.

Clay Phillips, head of TEA, says, “David’s tune was the finest thing we heard from anyone across Canada; it had the best songwriting, the best production and the best performance.” David will be featured at two Toronto venues in mid-July in a showcase series associated with release of the compilation.
