Frank Hoorn makes his home in Smithers, BC where he owns and operates a wonderful children's toy store called Big Smiles.   His original songs are packed with insight and humour.    His skills as a guitarist and mandolin player, developed over three decades, add to the appeal of his music while the strength of his songwriting has been recognized and supported by a range of other westcoast musicians, including David Essig, Doug Cox, Rick Scott and Dan Rubin, who teamed up with Frank to record his debut CD, Solid Ground, in 2002.

Frank has been appearing at regional festivals in BC (Smithers, Kispiox, White Horse, Rosswood and Bulkley Valley festivals) and is working on material for an upcoming second recording.   He is available for performances and broadcast appearances.    Contact Second Stage.
