When NEW EARTH travelled to Seville, Spain to perform more than 120 enthusiastically received concerts at Expo '92, they were accompanied by 18 cases of instruments, none of which contained amplifiers!

Employing "exotic textures" to "weave shimmering tapestries of sound" these "masters of their craft" have been described as "demonstrating great skill and feeling on their various instruments."  NEW EARTH's "eerily ancient," "meditative," "mysterious and magical," "other worldly," "soothing," and "special" music, while rich in definition, defies easy categorization.

Their album, New Earth - World Music from Canada's West Coast, has received regular airplay on CBC Radio and a range of other Canadian stations. The newly rereleased CD is now available.
