A benefit concert in support of AFM Local 820

THURSDAY, JUNE 21st
8 PM at the Gower Street United Church Hall

On Thursday, June 21 the Newfoundland and Labrador Musicians' Association will host an unusual benefit event. Musicians are often asked to play for free to support others. This time, the players will be paid, while the concert will help build an operating fund to support our local association. The first Musicians for Musicians event, co-sponsored by the Music Performance Fund last year, sold out this venue. So get your tickets early.

Performers will include:

Paul Bendzsa and Rob Power - new acoustic music
Denis Parker - traditional blues
Jenny Gear and Sandy Morris - original and traditional songs
David Chafe - MusicNL Gospel Artist of the Year
Bill Brennan - award winning solo jazz piano
