We have been offered excellent rates by the Battery Hotel and Suites for the conference and the week preceding. We are very pleased to have a locally operated venue with true Newfoundland character as the site for our conference.

• Suites with Jacuzzi- $149.00 a night
• Family Suites with Kitchen - $129.00 a night

If you would like to stay in St. John’s for an extended period of time, the Battery Hotel and Suites will give you these same discounted rates for a longer stay. Just mention "Our Future in Music" when you call them.

You will need to indicate that you are attending "Our Future in Music" to receive the special discounted rate. Rooms will be held for us at this rate until May 15th, 2008, but all rooms will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t delay in making your reservation. If you think you will be coming, but have details still to confirm, just let us know and we will have a room held for you until then.

Other hotels and bed-and-breakfast accommodations are available in the downtown core and surrounding communities. These options include restored older houses and hotels that are part of national chains, many with waterfront views and easy access to recreational activities and historic sites.
